Tramore Road Campus operates its own radio station within the college.
Juice FM broadcasts lunchtime radio programmes to the canteen for students entertainment during college terms. In addition Juice FM 88.7 broadcasts under licence from the BAI (Broadcasting Authority of Ireland) to parts of Cork City every Tuesday and Thursday from October to March. As this is a training frequency programs are primarily aimed at college students and the wider population of Cork City. Students on the radio broadcasting course years one and two generally present the programmes.
Juice FM is a brand new Radio Station Broadcasting to many parts of Cork City on 88.7FM.
Juice FM (88.7 MHz), a temporary radio station, is broadcasting to the greater Cork area over the next few months. The purpose of the service is to enable students of radio broadcasting at Colaiste Stiofain Naofa, to get ‘hands on’ training in a real working digital radio environment. If you live in or around Cork, don’t forget to tune into 88.7MHz.
