Crèche:

Our aim is to provide a safe, suitable and caring environment for the children in which they are encouraged to grow and develop to their full potential. The emphasis is on fun and learning through play. Our programme is designed to make a positive contribution to yours child’s holistic development.

All of our staff are highly trained and motivated and provides an environment where all children will feel safe, secure, challenged and stimulated and the child’s individual needs met. We welcome parents and children to share their skills. We create new experiences for the children and help them gain life skills. Each child is encouraged to use their imitative while following their interests. We encourage independence and respect for others and their environment.

Crèche Services:

• Pre-school Room
• ECCE Pre-school room (part time)

Crèche Facilities:

• Purpose built to provide a safe and stimulating environment.
• Lios na nÓg Crèche is HSE notified and members of Early Childhood Ireland.
• All children have a dedicated key worker.
• Staff ensure that children feel welcome and have a sense of identity and belonging.
• Staff work in partnership with parents and families attending the Crèche. We organise different family events throughout the year.
• Lios na nÓg Crèche has an open door policy and parents can visit or call at any time.
• Nutritious breakfast, snacks, lunch and tea are provided. Specific dietary requirements are respected. Separate dining areas for meal times.
• Well-equipped playrooms designed for specific needs of the age groups.
• A large outdoor area consisting of climbing structures, see-saws, slides, tricycles, bicycles, role play equipment and reading area.
• Ample Parking.

Opening Hours:

• Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
• Except Public holidays, Bank holidays, Good Friday and Christmas.

Waiting List:

There is a waiting list in operation if you wish to place your child’s name on it. Parents are advised that advance booking is necessary as places are limited.

Cost:

Fees are reviewed in July every year. There is no reduction in fees for absenteeism or holidays.
